The Pomera DM100 (Amazon) can be bought easily in the U.S. but you will pay a little more because its imported.
If you are in Japan, check out the nearest KS Denki electronics store.
The King Jim Pomera DM100 is sold slightly higher on the Amazon.com site. When I bought my Pomera I was living in Japan, so the price was around $190 dollars (converted from Yen).

Order direct from Japan
If you are brave and want to order the Pomera DM100 STRAIGHT from Japan you can use a proxy service such as Tenso.com, which will buy/receive the product for you. I’ve used Tenso.com to buy Japanese books in the past and have no problems with them.
(If you use Tenso make sure you use the FASTEST shipping available. Why? Well unless you live in Australia, which is close to Japan, you’re order will take 1-2 MONTHS for delivery. I found this out the hard way and was wondering if my package would ever come or if it was lost.)
I’m giving out this information because not everyone lives in the U.S. or has access to buying the Pomera DM100. It’s quite rare to find a brick and mortar store that would sell this device.
Also you might give White Rabbit Express a try. They seem like a good proxy buying service that’s been around for a while, but I don’t have experience with them.
Some sites restrict what countries can sign up. I would Google, “Proxy buying service Japan” if you are in one of those countries.
A proxy buying service is simply a company that will go out and buy your product and ship it to you. Often times, Japanese websites are in all Japanese and don’t accept international credit cards so, that’s why these proxy buying companies are needed.
