Ideas can hit you from anywhere. They can come while your walking your dog. While running an errand, and even while taking a shower.
The great Archimedes had his ‘eureka’ moment when he was sitting in the bathtub and discovered the “Archemedes Principle.” If you don’t know what that is, it’s basically dealing with the displacement of water and heavy objects displace more water than less dense objects.
It’s reported he ran out of the bathtub naked when he finally connected the dots.
These days, if you have a sudden inspiration in the bathtub or shower, you don’t have to run out of the bathtub naked. Instead you can reach for Aqua Notes. For about the past 6 years i’ve had these water-proof notes suction-cupped to my shower. It comes with a pencil that also suction-cups to the shower walls.
Showers are a great place for inspiration. Often, when our brains are relaxed ideas flow easily. Maybe it has something to do with warm water or the change in environment. All I know is Aqua Notes are a great cheap investment.
I’ve even used Aqua Notes for learning a foreign language. What I did was write down a few vocabulary words. Then every time I took a shower I would review them in the shower. It’s crazy how effective this is.
If you’re a goal setter, you can write down your goals on the Aqua Notes and stay on track each time you take a shower.
So for a small investment of around 7 or 8 dollars you can potentially come up with ideas that can easily generate hundreds or millions of dollars. All from the comfort of a hot shower.
